A fruit native to Nskanetis and commonly eaten by the Arakanth, especially the young or sickly. It is incredibly high in vitamins and used to nurse one back to health or quickly improve one's health, or simply provide a lot of nutrients when one isn't sure if they'll have a proper meal otherwise. The texture is, unfortunately, often described as "terribly overripe", and as such, the fruit is best squeezed out into a juice.

Fruit native to the Couloir's black forests. The fruit itself is contained within a thick shell; sometimes the shell itself is crafted into armor. The taste is similar to full, bold, and a bit sour - comparable to black cherry; the texture of the fruit is pulpy and similar to aloe vera.

Black Root

Root vegetable native to the Couloir's black deserts. It is a chewy source of hydration if one can get to the meat of the root. The edible part of the root is contained within thick protective bark; sometimes the bark itself is crafted into armor. The taste is similar to carrot, but lighter, with hint of onion. If not chewed on its own, it is typically peeled and then boiled due to its tough texture pre-boiling, a common ingredient in soups.
